ISTANBUL... HERE I COME!!! : PART 6 : BOSPHORUS CRUISE

Day 4.

So today will be free and easy Istanbul. First, we are going to cruise Bosphorus strait. Bosphorus strait, the strategic waterway, connecting Marmara Sea to the Black sea. It also divides The Asiatic Istanbul and Europe Istanbul. Bosphorus is a very busy waterway and you can see everyday many ships and oil tankers going through it. Unluckily it was a gloomy day, with a bit of rain. We didn't see that many ships la plak that day.

Bosphorus is a very busy waterway with many ships and oil tankers going through it, as well as local fishing and ferries go to the Asian side back and forth. Around 48.000 ships pass through this strait annually, three times denser than the Suez Canal traffic and four times denser than the Panama Canal - See more at: http://www.greatistanbul.com/bosphorus.html#sthash.a6V3VZ0p.dpuf

Kami menaiku cruise from Eminönü jetty. Menarik sungguh kawasan kt sini, alang musim sejuk je, if summer walahhh... how nice lepak sini mengopi.

At the background, if I'm not mistaken, was a New Mosque or Yeni Camii in Turkish. Turkey has thousands of mosque, kt Constantinople saje 1500 kata tourist guide. Look similar plak with each other, so agak confuse jugak nak beza antara satu sama lain, kecuali Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia sbb mempunyai senibina yg unik. Like the other days, it was cold that morning, nak2 lagi hujan.

I think Ammar masih ngantuk.
On the deck of the ferry dah. Not many people ini hari, so no need to hurry chop2 tempat.

Actually, those were the restaurants, cantik berhias2 shipnya tu. You may have a turkish tea (Turkish chay) kt situ

Anak dara teman.. gatai nak bawak beg last2 maknya yg mengusung grrrr

Dah start the cruise. It was so beautiful at both side of Istanbul... the view must be splendid in summer. Dalam kedinginan  pagi tak pagi jugak tu cruise membelah Selat Bosphorus. It us about 1 1/2 hour for the cruise.

Ada org mabuk laut dahhhh oiiii...

Sejuk2 bebudak ni lapa aje... so no worries, dlm ni ada kedai, boley beli juice, tea and roti. Sedap plak roti bakar ber cheese ni makan panas2 time sejuk2.

Kedai dlm ferry. (ke cruise bot?)
Kejap keluar kejap ke dalam. Nampak view cantik je berlari keluo...amik gambo. They said that during summer, kt tebing2 selat tu people will swim and have a picnic. How nice la kan during summer.

Along side the strait you can see many historical buildings, palaces, villas and fortress. They were so beautiful... and a very nice, nice view.

Nampak bukit bukau tu kan...cenggitulah bentuk muka buminya.

Kelihatan Dolmabahce Palace, the palace for the last Ottoman Sultan before he was ousted. Kamal Ataturk pun pernah tinggal sini setelah menggulingkan kesultanan Ottoman. Apa lagi... bergambo sakan.

Arghhhh dah nampak Bosphorus Bridge, opened in 1973, connecting Europe to Asia part of Istanbul.  Recently it was named as "Martyrs of 15th of July", dedicated to the victims of the coup attempt on 15th July 2016.   What a tragic event to democracy! Hampir nak jadi mcm Mesir dah.
Actually, there are 2 suspension bridges on the Bosphorus, connecting Europe and Asia. The other one is "Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridge", opened in 1988.

Aleesya dah kesejukan dan nak lena sebenarnya..

The bridge..

Rumeli fortress, or Rumeli Hisari. It was build by Sultan Muhammad Al Fatih in 4 months time. Can you see the suspension bridge? That was the second suspension bridge, "Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridge".

Rumeli Hisari, a fortress built by Sultan Mehmet II (AlFatih), as one of strategic preparation to conquer Constantinople.

At times, matahari sekali sekala memunculkan dirinya seperti ini.

One of the Camii (masjid) yang ada di sepanjang selat.

Tuan punyer blog.
Anak buah.

My lovely sister.

Aleesya nak nap, nangis kejap, pastu elok balik. Dlm ferry soh tido takmau.

Oklah, selesai part Bosphorus Cruise. Jumpa lagi, kita ke Dolmabahce palace plak lepas ni.
